Louis Icart "Bathers" Original 1926 pencil signed etching

Beautiful limited edition 1926 original Louis Icart pencil signed etching "Bathers" no.119. This etching is part of Icarts "bathers series" (Bathers, Bathing Beauties and Four Dears).

It captures the "Bath TIme" of these 3 beauties all dressed with their own unique attire and the etching of each beauty is perfect, especially the black shawl of the 3rd beauty. You can see so much impressive detail throughout the clothing and trees. The etching layers and crisp and pronounced. A very beautiful work of art.

Framed elegantly with hammered bronze 1.5" frame, french matte and accenting fillet. The etching is in great condition, vibrant colors with pops of teal, strong plate lines and all appropriate authentication markers. Overall even toning throughout the etching is noted. 

Upper left is stamped "Publie par l'estampe Moderene Paris and the upper right is stamped "Copyright 1926 by Ste. Ame. l'estampe moderene, 14 rue de Richelieu, Paris. (Etching was created in Paris) 

Measurements- Framed 26" x 30.5" and displayed image measures 18.5" x 22.5".
